Homeland security
One of the first things we decided to do in 2011 is to make sure our house stays safe and sound.
Yesterday we had an electronic security system installed in the house to give us some protection from burglary and fire. We have sensors on all the doors, motion sensors in key rooms and a fire alarm that automatically notifies the emergency services if we are not in the house. That gives me great peace of mind knowing our doggies will be safer when we’re not there.
Eventually, we’re planning on installing a camera surveillance system – one of those funky ones you can check in and view the house online. It’d be great to see what the dogs get up to when we’re not there!
